NBMA will schedule a same day appointment in the majority of cases. If you contactthe office late in the day there is a possibility the appointment will need to be scheduled the next morning.

If you are presently a patient with NBMA you may contact our office during normal business hours to request a prescription refill. Most prescription refills will be processed within 24 hours. If you are due for a follow up appointment you may be requested to schedule that appointment prior to the refill of your prescription.

Referrals must be requested at least 2-3 business days prior to your appointment. Referrals cannot be faxed to a physician’s office. It will be your responsibility to pickthe referral up at our office. To request a referral please contact our office during normal business hours.

Billing questions can be answered by contacting our billing office at 410-287-3727 Monday – Friday during the hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm.

If you are presently being treated for any medical conditions you should have an annual physical to review your condition and any medications you are taking. New patients with NBMA will be informed by their physician at their initial physical as to the frequency of their complete physicals.

Thhe NBMA physicians are on staff at Christiana Medical Center and at Union Hospitalof Cecil County.

We participate with most major insurance companies as well as with Medicare and Marylland Medical Assistance.

Previous medical records are useful if the patient has a complicated medical history but it is not necessary that we receive them prior to your initial visit.

No. NBMA treats patients from newborn to end of life.

No, not all providers are available and we will schedule you with the first available provider if you arrive for an unscheduled appointment.

Yes, all our physicians have taken and passed the examination that is required by the Board in their particular field of medicine.

NBMA accepts Master Card, Visa, personal check and cash. We collect co pays at the start of your visit. We cannot bill you for your co pay; this must be paid at the time of visit. For self-pay patients, we collect the initial fee up front, and if any additional testing is performed the balance is collected at check out. If you have a question concerning what the cost of a visit may be please contact our office prior to your visit and our staff will attempt to provide you with an estimate of the cost.
